
Baumard is the new Veuve Clicquot. Super tasty, waaaaay cheaper. Crisp, sparkling, super smooth, the whole bottle is gone before you know it, a great sparkling wine. A lot of reviewers spend time on tasting notes, scores, etc., but all I want to know is: Does it taste good? Baumard sparkling wine isn’t considered “champagne” but it’s better than champagne, this Loire Valley sparkler is a better wine value than just about any wine I’ve ever had. Period. Get it. Great with bread, salumi, cheese, everything. Get the Rose, get the sparkling wine, just get any of it! We bought a bottle at Zupan’s for $19 months ago, and it may be available around town but no guarantees. Do it!
