Yes, we love Kermit Lynch wines, and yes, we think he’s the coolest wine-slinging former hippy turned musician alive! He sounds just like Bob Dylan, trust me. So, even though we are prejudiced to enjoy his wines, we love the Chateau Saint Martin De La Garrigue. Prejudice, like stereotypes, sometimes occur for a reason, and the reason is Kermit Lynch Can Pick Wines.
We first tasted the wine at Kir Wine Bar (Amalia can also pick great wines), and then at the Kermit Lynch tasting at E & R Wineshop in Portland. This full-bodied red is complex and balanced, a STEAL at $17.

Yes, the wine is probably very good, but have you heard of Kelly Butte park? http://www.sightseeingreview.com/kellybutteparkportlandoregon.php
